Agra, India

DAY 1
We were supposed to see some sites along the way but I got my parents sick so we didn’t. That night we left my Mom in the hotel and saw the Agra Fort. We were supposed to see the Baby Taj but our guide said we couldn’t for some reason. He instead asked if we wanted to see a marble making store thing. My Dad said no we don’t need marble we’re traveling but the guy insisted and kept saying “buying is not necessary”. Finally we agreed and went. The guy in the shop was annoying and basically ignored me and whenever I asked a question he would either reply to my Dad or not answer till my Dad repeated the question. After he tried to pressure us into buying marble with stones engraved that come with lazy susan’s that are so cheaply made they barely spin. My Dad told him we didn’t need it and had nowhere to put expensive marble on and on. The man always said “that OK it very small packing” or “We send to friends, they cherish it forever. At one point he was really starting to get on my nerves so when he said “You can use it as a cheese cake dish” I laughed and said “That’s one expensive cheese cake tray”. Later when he asked which plate I liked better I felt like saying “You know what, I’m not really into fancy rocks”. I didn’t, but I so should have. We left after it all to go to the awesome hotel.

Favourite Thing of the Day: Agra Fort

Least Favourite thing of the Day: Annoying guide making us miss the Baby Taj to see an annoying dude trying to sell us dumb marble and rocks.

Overall view of Agra: Interesting different, full of some really annoying people (haha).
